EARLY YEARS

Xin Zhiping was born in 1912. When he was studying in the Department of Education of Sun Yat-Seng University in Guangdong, he made up his mind to put every effort in education. 

A GREAT EDUCATOR 

"He really had a great impact on me." Says the incumbent Taipei mayor.

No cheating, no stealing, and no fighting. These three rules are very important during the time when Xin Zhiping was the Principal of Shinchiku Junior High School. Anyone who disobeyed the rules would be expelled. 

A THIRTY-YEAR PRINCIPAL LIFE 

After came to Taiwan in 1945, he started his principal life in Shinchiku Junior High School. He worked so hard for students and his goal until his retirement in 1975.

"SWIMMING IS A MUST !"

Principal Xin Zhiping regarded swimming as an important skill. Students couldn't graduate if they could not swim.
